A part of the process I very much enjoy





I’d quite forgotten how much I enjoy the signing of a print. It is a full stop to a sentence. It is relaxing to me. A row of pencils at the ready begins the process undertaken with care; there’s little room for error. This is the recent print you are well familiar with now, being signed some weeks past now.

Mobile in process. Part II


I am still making the mobile for the exhibition. I am trying to finish it before the Infamous-Summer-Heat hits us here. I will soon start the balancing and hanging process. Until then, here are some birdies...

Flying to your door



From this bed, with the wings of a bird, I flew to the sea as I slept last night. (detail) (Gracia Haby, lithographic offset print 2010)

Here is my finished piece, a five-colour lithographic offset print (the fifth plate being a green to enhance the scales of the fish and the feathers of the duck to really make them sing). It is now wending way by plane to Holland. I wish that I, too, could fit inside that box.
